The historic Woman’s Club of Evanston exudes timeless elegance. When entering through the main door you are greeted by an elegant black and white marble entrance hall with double staircase leading to the dramatic Grand Ballroom.

The Ballroom

On the second floor the dramatic two-story Ballroom accommodates up to 250 guests for a sit-down dinner without a dance floor and 230 guests with a dance floor. The Ballroom has beautiful hardwood floors for dancing and an adjacent enclosed Sun Porch for cocktail service, as well as a stage that is perfect for performers.

The Tea Room and Music Room

The first floor Tea Room and adjacent Music Room can accommodate up to 150 guests with seating in both rooms for dinner without a dance floor. By using the adjacent Music Room for dancing, 120 guests can be seated in the tea room for dinner. The first floor also offers a beautiful enclosed Sun Porch perfect for cocktail service.

Use of the Whole Clubhouse includes:

  • Use of the central foyer on the first and second floors
  • Use of the first floor 45’ x 38’ Tea Room for a cocktail reception or ceremony
  • The adjacent first floor 42’ x 22’ maple hardwood Music Room separated from the Tea Room by French doors — suitable for dancing and equipped with a pull-down screen for video presentations
  • The first floor year-round glass enclosed Sun Room adjacent to the Tea Room
  • The second floor 70‘ x 42’ Grand Ballroom, equipped with a full stage – perfect for band set-ups or presentations
  • Large drop down screen from above the stage for presentations or videos
  • The second floor year-round glass enclosed Sun Room adjacent to the Grand Ballroom

Use of the First Floor includes:

  • The central first floor foyer
  • Use of the 45’ x 38’ Tea Room for receptions, dining and ceremonies
  • The adjacent first floor 42’ x 22’ maple hardwood Sun Room, separated from the Tea Room by French doors — suitable for dancing and equipped with a pull-down screen for video presentations
  • The first floor year-round glass enclosed Sun Room adjacent to the Tea Room

Use of the Second Floor includes:

  • The central second floor hall
  • The second floor 70‘ x 42’ Grand Ballroom, equipped with a full stage – perfect for band set-ups or presentations
  • Large drop down screen from above the stage for presentations or videos
  • The second floor year-round glass enclosed Sun Room adjacent to the Ballroom.

The capacity per space is:

  • 120 for a sit-down dinner in the Tea Room on the first floor
  • 150 – 200 for a cocktail reception on the first floor
  • 75 for theatre-style seating in the first floor Music Room
  • 230 for a sit-down dinner with a dance floor in the Grand Ballroom
  • 250 for a sit-down dinner without a dance floor in the Grand Ballroom
  • 250 for theatre-style seating in the second floor Grand Ballroom
